With 7 days of clear blue skies and nice warm weather, it is probably a pleasant place to be everywhere. Nevertheless, we can also agree with the majority of all the positive reviews and high ratings. Frank's hospitality, the comfortable accommodation, the BBQ for which we were spontaneously invited, it was all top notch. The wooded region and hills, the great tranquility (not super touristy) made for a week that can really be labeled as a holiday for us. A special place.

We enjoyed our vacation at this location. The holiday home is very well equipped and is very well maintained. The beds sleep well, as Frank himself quotes. The pool and jacuzzi are great! You can also fully enjoy the tranquility in the middle of nature and there is a large public lake a fifteen minute drive away. Both children and parents experience a quality holiday here. Frank (the owner) was present all week: a pleasant, friendly man who is always approachable and with whom it is nice to talk - always with the necessary discretion. In short, a top holiday. We will probably go back again!

We enjoyed our holiday immensely. If you want to relax and enjoy nature, you've come to the right place. The Gites are equipped with every comfort. Enjoy a lovely stroll at the swimming pool and enjoy a blissful jacuzzi, it's all possible here. You don't have to miss even Flemish channels on TV. The host Frank is a top guy. The barbecue offered by Frank will stay with you. We will definitely go back. Frank, thank you for everything.

After being hospitably received, we had a wonderful week in a spacious and comfortably furnished gite with a covered terrace. The garden is spacious with sufficient privacy. In addition, there is a beautifully landscaped heated swimming pool and a jacuzzi. The area is beautifully rural and quiet with plenty of cycling and walking opportunities.

We have stayed in Bellevue with our 2 teenagers. A beautiful and clean gîte with every comfort. Large garden with lots of privacy. You can enjoy the beautiful view in peace while the children enjoy themselves in the lovely swimming pool. Enjoy a game of jeu de boules in the evening. Enough sights within achievable distance. Frank is a real host who gives your holiday that extra touch. Thank you for the wonderful and pleasant evening. Bellevue is highly recommended, you get a lot of luxury for the price you pay!

We have stayed here with 5 people, with different interests. It is formidable here for cycling, walking and enjoying the peace. Really recommended. The comfort of the gites themselves with the luxury of the swimming pool and jacuzzi makes it complete. If you want to enjoy the peace and nature you have to be here!

We stayed in Gîte Bellevue from August 10 to 17, 2019 and enjoyed this beautiful Gîte! Very well equipped house, wonderful beds (because this is not always the case in holiday homes), well equipped kitchen, nice swimming pool and wonderful jacuzzi! Everything you need for a week of pure nature and relaxation. It is somewhat remote to do excursions, but the area itself is more than sufficient to enjoy beautiful France. An oasis of peace, highly recommended! Worth repeating!

We stayed for a week with our family (7 adults) in this residence. We rented both houses. Everything was very tidy when we arrived and the pool and jacuzzi was checked daily. The host is very friendly and helpful when needed. If you are looking for a quiet holiday environment, this is a must. Silence is what you hear :). You can make beautiful walks in the area and visit a number of towns / villages (of course you have to drive by car). An experienced cyclist will certainly find the area top. The cozy BBQ was a nice surprise. In short, A RECOMMEND!

We stayed in gite L'Escale for a week last week. The gite is cozy and fully equipped. Clean, fully equipped, and good beds. The thick walls ensure that it remains relatively fresh inside (although it is of course also warm inside with an outside temperature of almost 40°C).

The domain is located in the middle of nowhere, which makes it wonderfully quiet. You will find a bakery relatively close by, and a number of supermarkets about 10 minutes by car. The entire domain is beautifully landscaped and equipped with a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi. Frank is a pleasant host, who is ready for tips and a tasty barbecue. There is a good chance that we will come back again!

We stayed for a week in this cottage with our 3 children. Beautiful surroundings, very quiet. In the evening you only hear nature. The cottage itself also appealed to us very much, everything was there: kitchen with all appliances, large swimming pool, jacuzzi, BBQ, swing, ... We are fans!

The gite is very clean and fully furnished. Everything has been thought of. The quality of the beds is also worth mentioning. The domain itself is very beautiful and Frank keeps everything in tip-top order himself.

He also insists on a good reception and does his best to make sure everything goes smoothly.

The great added value for us and the children were of course the swimming pool and the jacuzzi, but also the outdoor kitchen, where we always ate with both families.

Frank sent us all the necessary information about the region in advance. It is true that you have to drive a while to visit certain things, but that also means that the region itself is very quiet and little touristy. You can walk and cycle beautifully.

To summarize, highly recommended for us!

Wonderful week in Gîte L'Escale.

Frank is a very good host who will make you feel at home in his beautifully renovated farmhouse. Leaking tap was replaced in the evening. Delicious barbeque with Roquefort sauce!

The gîte is finished with very good materials and well equipped. In the middle of the fields, this ensures pure tranquility. Bakery in the village is a 10-minute walk away, major shops are a maximum of 20 minutes by car.

This is especially recommended for families with small children: the terrace and swimming pool are shielded so that there is no risk.

For sights you have to drive at least half an hour. There is not much to see in the vicinity, except beautiful nature. Hikers or cyclists will certainly get their money's worth here.

Gîtes La Planche..a piece of paradise that we got to discover!

We really fell in love with the region, there is a lot to discover in the wide area!

Our gîte (Bellevue) was a topper with the large garden for the kids to romp in, a view of the beautiful surroundings and pond.

The domain is also completely fenced and all facilities are accessible via gates, making it ideal with small children as they can never slip into the pool unattended.

Here you will find quality time for your family: splashing around during the day or playing games with the kids; In the evening children in bed, baby monitor and together enjoy the relaxing jacuzzi or chat on the cozy terrace. My husband also thought it was great to be able to catch some fish in the pond with the children.

Host Frank does everything to fully pamper the guests.

Thank you Frank for everything, we will be back next year!

If you like the silence, you can find it here, you just don't hear anything except the ringing of your own ears.

And children can roam freely without you having to keep an eye on them all the time. Everything is very well secured and shielded, the swimming pool, the pond, the domain. Really ideal for a family with small children.

Moreover, this gîte is wonderful and complete. My wife would want to live there right away. You just have everything you need there.

The swimming pool is beautiful and provides cooling, is a paradise for the children. And in the evening relax in the jacuzzi and admire the beautiful starry sky.

We did not fly with the DPM, although the possibility existed. Maybe next time and it is definitely recommended to admire the beautiful surroundings from the air.

Thank you, Frank, for the very nice reception. Class!

And my wife Carola tells everyone who inquires about our holiday how wonderful it is and at the same time she advises them to visit this place.

Oh yes, also thanks for that delicious BBQ. You were a great host.

The gite is perfectly equipped and really everything is there. The jacuzzi and the swimming pool which you can use are also wonderful. An ideal place with (small) children as there are high chairs and cots and there are also toys and games available. In addition, everything is fenced, which means that children can roam freely.

There is not much to do in the immediate vicinity. But for us, enjoying nature and tranquility was more than enough and if you are looking for this, we definitely recommend this gite!

We came to stay in these gîtes with our family for a week and it was a super nice holiday in all respects. We did not know the region at all, it was the first time for us in Allier.

The gite itself is very clean and fully equipped. You really have everything you need. Those looking for peace and quiet will certainly get their money's worth here. You sit between fields and meadows and, beautiful nature. Our 2 daughters aged 5 and 7 enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi every day. For fun activities (visiting volcanoes, excavating dinosaurs, rail biking, etc.) you always have to drive half an hour to an hour, but that is very easy to do from this location.

In short: an ideal base for a peaceful holiday. An absolute must in our opinion!
